The Top Conference for Private K–12 Schools
The Blackbaud K–12 User Conference is the definitive event of the year for private grade schools and one of Blackbaud's most popular annual events—but, like many other formerly in-person conferences, its creative needed a little refurbishing for the heavily virtual post-COVID era.
"As the sole copywriter on the project this year, I had the opportunity to exercise creative agency and really take charge of this campaign. This year, the client side of the project experienced some inability to meet deadlines and effectively deliver project direction. This bump in the road allowed me to exercise and showcase my established leadership and developing project management skills. The Staff Copywriter position at Blackbaud requires either 'proficiency' in or a 'developing' approach to 'professional concepts [and] act[ing] independently to apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues." I definitely met this requirement (and then some) throughout the duration of the K–12 UC project as I engaged across teams and went above and beyond workload-wise."
